This Privacy Policy describes how Raven File Manager ("the App"), developed by J7SOFTWARE, handles information when you use our Android application.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy is transparent about what data is collected, why, and how it is used.
The App itself does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. However, the App uses third-party services that may collect certain information:
The App requests access to your device's file system solely to provide file management functionality. Files on your device are never uploaded, shared, or transmitted.
The App uses Google AdMob to display interstitial and rewarded advertisements. AdMob and its advertising partners may collect device identifiers, app usage data, and other information to provide personalized or non-personalized ads.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App will show you a consent message when you first open it, allowing you to accept or decline the use of your data for ad personalization, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can review or change your choice at any time via Settings → Change ad consent inside the App.

You can also opt out of personalized advertising at the device level under Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, or another U.S. state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you may have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising, as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and similar state laws.
The App does not sell personal information in exchange for money. However, the use of Google AdMob and its advertising partners to serve personalized ads may be considered "sharing" of device identifiers and usage data under these laws.
You can opt out of this sharing at any time using Settings → Change ad consent inside the App, which lets you decline the use of your data for ad personalization.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
To exercise any other rights available to you under applicable state law — such as the right to know, delete, or correct your personal information — please contact us using the details in the Contact section below.
The App stores only minimal preferences locally on your device (such as language choice, sort order, and display settings) using Android SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device.
No user accounts, passwords, or personal information are collected or stored by the App.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
